Admit it...you're afraid; we're all afraid!
We're afraid of the government
We're afraid of the future
We're afraid of the economy collpasing
We're afraid! As we should be.
The so-called federal government is completely out-of-control, it seeks more and more power, more and more control over you and me. And we all know, there's nothing to stop them. Sure, many people are trying to take solace in the idea that a Romney win will somehow "slow things down." But already, buyers remorse is setting in as Romney on the campaign seems to be everything we in the liberty movement said he was; a "little" less anti-liberty than Obama. But make no mistake about it, he is PRO-BIG GOVERNMENT. He wants to manage the national economy and control behavior, just a little bit different than Obama.Read more: Courage...the antidote to fear

A New Constitutional Amendment - Abolish the States!

It’s time to abolish the States.
Well, after three years of trying to convince conservatives of the moral superiority of federalism, diversity, the supremacy of unalienable rights, consent of the governed, etc, the real solution to the mess we have is clear!
The Forgotten Men along with Mike Church, Tom Woods, Kevin Gutzman, Don Livingston, Michael Boldin, Mike Maharrey, Brian Brawdy, and many many others…have promoted all of the transcendent principles observed by our Founders.
Therefore, in keeping with the desire to propose way outside the box solutions, TFM propose we call a Constitutional Convention as soon as possible to introduce, pass and ratify the following Amendment to the Constitution:Read more: A New Constitutional Amendment - Abolish the States!

Who is the real villain?

As we've been discussing on the show for a few weeks now, the only people who are going to bring about violence are the DC'ver located in the swampland called Washington DC!
Yes, that's right, the group that will be behind the coming war amongst the people will be those people who hold themselves in such high esteem and the Borg collective that follows them; whether republican or conservative, progressive or conservative. Yep...when people get so heated about the latest tyrannical action of the national government, at some point, people are going to get so angry that some less than stable group will decide it's time to take up arms! Don't think this is impossible, it happens all the time around the globe.
And again, the culprit will be Washington DC...NOT the Liberty Movement, including The Forgotten Men!
Why?
- Because we're okay with people choosing the lifestyle they want without one-size fits all supposed solutions from the immoral in DC.
- We believe that the States are the most likely political entity that can reflect the diversity that is natural in a population of 310,000,000. As long as they respect the diversity of their neighboring States.
- We recognize that under this diversity, some States will be more traditional or conservative and some will be more progressive or liberal...The Forgotten Men are okay with that.
The question then becomes...are you? Do you feel the need to control other people? Believe that your worldview must be forced upon people using guns and laws?
If you answered yes to either question or know people who would...then that is the group that will eventually be prompted by the DC'vers to begin shooting each other. And when that moment occurs...you'd better hope you're far away from the action.
Until that time...we will continue to advocate for a morally superior solution...FEDERALISM!
