We’re being propagandized, programed leading to pacification – the 3 P’s of despotic rule. And the DC’vers are wildly successful. Let’s take a minute to break down their tactics and examine why we’re in heap big trouble if we let it continue!
Program (verb used with object) - to cause to absorb or incorporate automatic responses, attitudes, or the like; condition: The government programmed us to ignore the Rule of Law.
Our average elected officials are not noble people; in most instances, they possess a deep seeded desire to rule others. They are generally not trustworthy to protect inalienable rights; in some cases maliciously and in others out of sheer ignorance and/or lack of knowledge. Now to be sure, from time to time, anomalies appear, but as a rule, the people occupying power over the citizens thirst to rule over others, status, and fringe benefits that come from their position. They do not respect authority by and large and cleverly seek ways around adhering to it; in relation to this article, the authority for the national body of elected officials is the United States Constitution including the Bill of Rights.
In order to reach their objective of maintaining their rule over others, status, and fringe benefits, these officials must find a way to overcome the limitations of the Constitution. It is an obstacle to them to achieve their self-centered goals. And the biggest threats to them are an informed and engaged electorate, thus the need to begin programming the populace to accept their un-constitutional activities at the earliest possible time. This is a requirement of all despots, programming the people via propaganda until pacification is achieved.

Things like the Healthcare legislation (which, granted is huge) are all symptoms of the root issue. However, we've let constitutional adherence (i.e. the root issue) go out the window, which has inevitably resulted in the Federal beast getting out of its cage. Its fiscal appetite is insatiable and because of this, our debt is almost $16T and unfunded liabilities are in excess on $61T (some estimates are as high as $130T depending on the length of the timeline). These numbers will explode over the next 4 years (regardless of which DC'ver sits in the oval office) and we'll be between $22 to 24T in debt and have a debt-to-GDP ratio of almost 140%. NEWSFLASH: This is unsustainable. It's not something to be laid at the feet of our current president or his predecessor (although their "budgets" kept the streak going), but it goes back generations and we're all culpable; we let the Federal beast out of its cage.

Now at first blush, many of you may react angrily at this heading. "Mark, I'm a conservative and how dare you call me a "Living Constitutionalist!"
So, before you email me with a piece of you mind, please hear me out. You might be a living constitutionalist without even knowing it and to some degree, you've been trained to think this way over most of your education and adult of life...just like I was.
So, let's begin with definitions. What is a living constitutionalist?
From the University of Chicago Law School: "A living Constitution is one that evolves, changes over time, and adapts to new circumstances, without being formally amended."
Notice some key words in this definition; "evolves;" "changes over time;" "adapts;" "new circumstances;" "without being FORMALLY AMENDED." Examined honestly, very few "conservatives" can claim to not be living constitutionalists, for example;
