Another way to look at the Bill of Rights

Many of the Framers or contemporaries of the Framers (inaccurately called Anti-Federalists) were so concerned during the ratification of the Constitution that it (the Constitution) did not limit the national government and that the national government would someday roll the States, they DEMANDED a Bill of Rights.

This Bill of Rights is really quite simple. The Founders were quite clear when they essentially said; "hey, national government and future DC'vers! There are 8 things we want to be EXTREMELY clear you can do NOTHING about as a national government, NOTHING. And EVERYTHING else you're going to want to do beyond your other 30 delegated responsibilities, the 9th and 10th Amendments STOP YOU! Because everything else beyond the 30 delegated responsibilities We the People operating through the States delegated to you are RESERVED TO THE STATES OR THE PEOPLE!  To everyone reading this, if you don't understand the 9th and 10th Amendment, you are NOT adherents to the Constitution as ratified. You are either a supporter of federalism, and all its imperfections or you're not. Just as a woman cannot be "sort of pregnant" you cannot be "sort of pro-federalism." It's either or. As for me, I'd rather take my chances with 50 different options (States) vs. living under ONE tyrannical national government that I have absolutely ZERO chance of changing...even with Pastor Santorum (sorry, I had to take the shot)!

When you don't understand the Bill of Rights as the Founders, Framers, and Ratifiers wrote them...you give away more and more of your liberty and shackle your self more and more with the ball and chain of the national government. They were explicitly clear, incredibly clear, that the Bill of Rights was intended to limit ONLY the Federal Government...NOT the States.

Under a proper rendering of the Bill of Rights, any State can regulate the heck out of guns and the Federal government has absolutely no say about it. We the People of that State do, but not the federal government. And when a crappy State, populated by a bunch of crappy people who don't care about the Inalienable Right to self defense, regulates the heck out of gun ownership, the very last thing the non-crappy people of that State should do is run to the federal courts for help. No, they should run to their State courts, their State legislature, run for office themselves to take back political power themselves in their State...or leave the crappy state. That's it!

We know you've been taught very differently by your schools, the DC'vers in Washington, Team R and Team D, mainstream media, etc...but it's time for us all to re-learn the truth of history; not the fraud of the Bill of Rights that we've had foisted upon us.

Please STOP running to federal courts over State issues, fix them in the State yourself. If you don't, you give the national powers in the 10 square mile swampland called Washington DC more and more power over you. And in the famous words of Dr. Phil...How's that working for you!?
