Happy Constitution Day!...Hardly!

So, today is the day we celebrate the signing of the Constitution at the conclusion of the Philadelphia Convention (it wasn't technically called a Constitutional Convention). Yippee...except, what are we celebrating?

We have a Constitution in a air tight chamber at the National Archives, that's it. As a functioning and authoritative document that supposedly governs the so-called federal government...puuullleeezzz! We haven't had an authoritative Constitution for generations, so why celebrate it today? I mourn it's destruction today, not celebrate it. Why? By doing so, we accept just another part of the propaganda machine to get you to trust these near criminals in charge of the so-called federal government. From BOTH parties! 

And sadly, we buy right into it year after year after year! Just as we will this time. Both ideologies will listen to the propaganda from their respective parties and march down to the polls believe themselves to be performing their "civic duty" and "patriotic duty!" Voting for a set of liars or deceivers neither our civic duty nor is it patriotic. It's the anthesis of both notions.

So, who killed the Constitution?

We the People killed the Constitution. The DC'vers are simply a reflection of us...from both parties. John Boehner is just as dishonest and ignoble as Nancy Pelosi. Let the facts bear this out:

1. Both violate their oath all the time!

2. Both sponsor and support legislation that can find no authority in the Constitution

3. All lie about their role as legislators

4. Both materially gain from the largess of office

So, tell me, where is the difference between Boehner and Pelosi? They're both dishonest frauds and the average republican and democrat voter keeps putting them right back into power.

So, who's the guilty party? It is us.

And nothing will change unless we change. It is simply intellectually dishonest, fundamentally disingenuous to blame all of this on Obama. But everyone will in an attempt to justify their vote and soothe their conscience.

A DC'ver is a DC'ver whether they are a republican, a so-called conservative, a democrat or a progressive. Lying is lying and I for one will put principles above politics and I will not be part of the national kabuki theater and instead will focus on working with my State to move my State towards stopping the out-of-control national government. I put zero hope in this election solving anything.
